Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres endorses Samsung, tweets via iPhone

Oscar host Ellen DeGenerestweeted the selfie that broke Twitter via her SamsungGalaxy Note 3, but backstage she seems to be using an iPhone.
Samsung, which is the main sponsor for this year's Oscars, got a lot of attention when DeGeneres tweeted a picture of Hollywood A-listers from her Galaxy Note 3. The tweet broke the retweeting record for the website and Twitter itself went down for 20 minutes as its servers were unable to handle so much activity.Click here to download all
However, a couple of images shared from DeGeneres's account, @TheEllenShow, show that she, in fact, uses an iPhone for her personal use.
Here's the photo of Channing Tatum that carries the 'Twitter for iPhone' tag at the bottom:
Below is photo of Oscar winner Jared Leto, who will be a guest on DeGeneres's TV show, again with the 'Twitter for iPhone' stamp:
It is possible that one of the people on DeGeneres's team with an iPhone having access to her official account took the photo and tweeted it. But the 'conflict between what celebs preach and practice' coming to light could be a source of embarrassment for world's biggest smartphone seller.
This is, of course, not the first time that such a celebrity faux pashas occurred. Oprah Winfrey, the talk show queen and one of the most powerful women in the world, spoke about her love for the Microsoft Surface tablet in November 2012... via her iPad.
In 2013, BlackBerry's then-creative director Alicia Keys promoted her new BlackBerry phone via, once again, an iPhone. Tennis star David Ferrer too had expressed his love for Galaxy S4 via an iPhone.
This has happened in India too. Priyanka Chopra, who has been the brand ambassador for Nokia since 2011, sent various tweets - including one congratulating Nokia on its 15th birthday - via an app that was only available for iPhone.
